Patricia Louise Hargrove (Taylor)
Patty Hargrove, 82, of Buckner, MO passed away Saturday, August 20, 2016. A visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 pm on Friday, August 26, 2016 at Speaks Suburban Chapel 18020 E. 39th St, Independence, MO, 64055. A service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at First Baptist Church of Buckner 131 S. Hudson St, Buckner, MO, 64016. Burial will follow in Buckner Hill Cemetery. Patty was born August 5, 1934 in Pilot Grove, MO to Lloyd and Anna Taylor. She married Eugene Hargrove on February 14, 1950. She was a member of First Baptist of Buckner and enjoyed participating in many church activities. She worked for Fort Osage High School for 17 years in the cafeteria. She will be remembered by her daughter Deborah Vanarsdall of Blue Springs, MO; son Bob Hargrove and wife Tina of Virginia Beach, VA; daughters Cheryl McFarlane and husband Jim of Buckner, MO; Beth Hoskins and husband David of Platte City, MO; Lori Palmer of Buckner, MO; Lisa Hargrove of Grain Valley, MO; sister in law Ruth Morris; grandchildren Amy Vanarsdall, Penelope Hargrove, Aaron Morgan and wife Amanda, Mackenzie Hoskins, Bryce Palmer, Trevor King and wife Belinda; great grandchildren Kiley Hoaglin, Macy and Ryan Morgan. Patricia was preceded in death by her sister Delores Coats and husband Eugene. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Missouri Baptist Children’s Home 11300 St. Charles Rock Rd, Bridgeton, MO, 63044. Patty’s family would like to thank her faithful friends and church members who continued their support during her stay at Wilshire. They would also like to extend a very special thanks to her friends and caretakers at Wilshire who showered her with love.
