Obituary for Michelle Marie Dyche
Michelle Marie (Byrnes) Dyche, of Independence, MO passed away on March 30, 2021. She was 60 years old. A visitation will be held from 2-3pm on Monday April 5th with a service following at 3pm, both at Speaks Suburban Chapel; 18020 E. 39th St.; Independence, MO 64055. Social distancing and mask requirements will be observed.
Michelle was born to James E. and Jane L. Byrnes on March 1, 1961 in Kansas City, MO. Michelle graduated from Raytown High School. She married James L. Dyche, Jr., on May 15, 1999.
Michelle is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her loving husband, James of the home and daughter, Mary (Andy) Retherford; brother James M. Byrnes, sister Brenda (Ritchie) Swadley; several nieces and nephews, Sarah (Phillip) Dunlap, Erinn (David) Kilcran, Shawn Swadley, Caitlin (Casey Z.) Swadley, Derek (Tristin F.) Swadley, and great nieces and nephews, Janie, Meadow, Tori, Ricky and Nicholas.
Michelle was an old soul who was a friend to all and loved hard. No matter if you were family or friend, she would not let you off the phone without telling you she loved you. She loved to travel and spoil her toy poodle, Muffin and cat, Sassy.
She never met an obstacle she could not overcome. Michelle had an infectious laugh and smile that could light up the dimmest of room or situation. Michelle loved to hunt and fish as long as she didn’t have to bait her own worm. She had many friends who loved her dearly.
She was an amazing wife and mother who will be dearly missed.
