Obituary for Joshua William "Tiny" Maget Jr.
Joshua William Maget Jr., age 13 of Marceline, died Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at his home. Joshua was born on January 18, 2008 at Blue Springs, Missouri to Josh and Stevie (Peden) Maget.
Joshua was currently in the 7th grade at Marceline R5 where he was a member of the Middle School football team. He was an avid outdoor lover, hunting and fishing and he got his first deer this past deer season, an 11-point buck. He loved his family, friends and loved his lord.
He is survived by his mother and father Stevie and Ben Essig and sister Jordan of the home in Marceline, father Josh Maget of Lexington and stepmother Samantha Maget of Odessa, brother Zachary of Independence, step sisters Hannah and Sydnee Essig of Buckner, maternal grandparents, Steve and Susan Luzicka of Independence, Steve and Linda Peden of Blue Springs, paternal grandmother Robyn Kella of Raytown, grandfather Dennis Bryant of Odessa, paternal grandmother Jane Essig of Marceline, great great grandmother Josephine Sweeden of Independence, aunts, uncles and cousins.
