Elaine Esther Lamley, 85 of Independence, MO passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at Truman Gardens. The family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO 64052. She will be laid to rest with her husband, Edward Lamley, at Leavenworth National Cemetery. Elaine was born September 26, 1935 in Wichita, KS to Francis and Mary (Kasel) Pinaire and has been a longtime area resident. Elaine supported her family in every aspect – mother/provider. Elaine enjoyed time with family and friends, working jigsaw puzzles and crossword puzzles. She was a fan of baseball – especially the KC Royals. She loved her dogs and flowers. Elaine is survived by 4 children; her son Edward Lamley and wife Teresa of Lee’s Summit, MO; Linda Shoot of Belton, MO; Patricia Hoefgen and husband Richard of Liberty, MO and Kevin Lamley of Independence, MO. She has 9 grandchildren and has been blessed with many great grandchildren.
