Obituary for Lois Marie Spellman
Lois Marie Spellman, 82, of Blue Springs, MO, passed away on Monday, November 18th, 2019. A visitation will be held from 6-8:00pm Wednesday, November 20th at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055. A funeral service will take place at 10:00am on Thursday, November 21st, also at the chapel. Interment will follow Mound Grove Cemetery in Independence.
Lois was born June 22, 1937 in Kansas City, KS to Harry and Gladys Bone. On January 16, 1954, she married Francis Eugene Spellman. They were happily married for 52 years.
Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Francis; her parents; her brother, Leonard Bone; and her daughter, Diana Marie Magill.
She is survived by her son, Randy Spellman, her daughter, Karen Fischer and husband Tom, her son Michael Spellman and wife Janet; 7 grandchildren: Ryan & Troy Spellman; Zachary & Justin Magill; Ashley Lehenbauer and husband, Tony; Nicolas Spellman and wife, Ally; Tara Dalton and husband Blaine; as well as 6 great-grandchildren: Blake, Colton, Asa, Duke Theodore, Lauren, and Miller.
Contributions can be made in her honor to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
