Terry Greenwood, 72, of Independence, MO passed away November 3, 2019. A visitation will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 6, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO. Services will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 8, at Ulmer Funeral Home, 1208 S. Garrison, Carthage, MO, and burial will take place at Fidelity Cemetery. Terry was born July 21, 1947 in Carthage, MO to Leslie and Christina (Grenniger) Greenwood. After High School, served the United States Air Force, and was stationed in Sherman, TX. He retired from the Missouri Department of Conservation Forestry. Terry was preceded in death by his parents; first wife and mother to his children, Susan Moore Greenwood; and furry son, Kendall Greenwood. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Greenwood; son, Monty Greenwood (Traci); daughter, Candi Watson (James); brother, Gary Greenwood (Nancy); stepsons, Edward Brown, Roy Brown (Tanya); step daughter, Tammy Shaw (Keith); thirteen grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and one furry baby, Rowdy.
