I'm so sorry to find this. I was looking online for your address when I found this. I've lost track of so much since Bugs death and trying to put mine and kids life back on somewhat of a normal track. Nadine and Loyd were so good to Bugs and I appreciate that even when alcohol took over his whole personality and changed him forever. I'm so sorry I know it is hard. I wish I could say it gets easier but my family has yet to cross that bridge. Hugs to your family. You are in our thoughts. Love, Nikki, Mackenzie and Tanner Booth

Story shared: My Aunt

Coming to visit my Aunt & Uncle was always an enjoyable time. Picking apples in the orchard or looking for frogs in the little creek there always seemed to an adventure to be had. When The Little Blue flooded our house in Buckner in 1965, they opened their house to us and my younger brother and I camped out in the living room with our cousin. After we moved to northern Missouri, the beginning of the school year meant a trip down to visit and shopping at Sears for clothes, shoes, etc. After I graduated from college and moved down close by, my aunt was one of the first to help me settle in to my first home. When I needed to have Kidney surgery, my aunt would not allow me to come home to a house by myself and made me stay with them (it didn't hurt that she was a good cook and fed me well). We had this little joke between us and every time we spoke to each other she opened with the same line, "Listen here kid." and between us it never stopped being amusing. My aunt Nadine was a tough lady raised on rural values, and when you needed something, or someone she was always there for my brothers and sister. I will miss you Aunt Nadine.
